Admissions
PROCESS
The admissions process begins with completing the FBS Inquiry Form online.
You will then be contacted to set up a time to meet with Mr. McKinney, Administrator, or Mrs. Bruffey, Elementary Principal, and to tour the school. Realizing that attending FBS is a privilege and not a right, an interview with an administrator is required of each student along with a parent or guardian. The purpose is to present the school’s philosophy of Christian education and the importance of a biblical worldview. You can also reach the office at 651-423-2272.
SHADOWING
During the school year, we encourage upper elementary and secondary prospective students to attend school for a day, often called shadowing. We will place a classmate with your child for the day. Shadowing gives new students an opportunity to familiarize themselves with our students, staff and the classroom environment at our school. Mr. McKinney or Mrs. Bruffey will assist with scheduling a shadowing day.
TESTING
Academic screening tests are administered to all students applying to First Baptist School for 1st grade through 12th grade. In addition, admission is not complete until all the necessary forms have been received, including transcripts from the previous school(s) to verify their academic status.
